Cookie policy
WagePilot uses a small amount of necessary browser storage and loads optional analytics or advertising measurement only after you choose those categories.
Effective and last updated August 26, 2026Necessary storage
- wagepilot_session: HTTP-only authentication cookie, up to 30 days.
- wagepilot_consent: records your privacy categories for up to 180 days.
- wagepilot_consent_v1: matching local-browser preference used to display and apply your choice.
Necessary storage cannot be disabled through the banner because it supports requested authentication, security, and privacy-choice functions. You can remove it through browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or ask for consent again.
Analytics
If you enable Analytics, WagePilot loads Google Analytics 4 directly or through Google Tag Manager. It measures page use and funnel events such as diagnostic start, payroll upload, analysis completion, pricing view, and checkout start. WagePilot does not intentionally send worker names, account email, or payroll values in these events.
Advertising
If you enable Advertising, WagePilot loads Google Ads measurement directly or through Google Tag Manager. This may use advertising storage and click identifiers to attribute a payroll-upload conversion to a campaign. Advertising consent also controls Google’s ad-user-data and ad-personalization signals. WagePilot does not use payroll content for ad personalization.
Your controls
On your first visit you can accept all, reject optional categories, or customize analytics and advertising separately. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent. When you withdraw a category, WagePilot sends an updated denied state to Google; on the next page load, tags for rejected categories remain blocked.
